I am Tropical Avocado, the climate-smart fruit tree. My glossy green fruits thrive in hot, humid regions where other avocados struggle. My flesh is buttery and mild, perfect for salads, spreads, and orchard markets.
I am an avocado cultivar adapted to tropical climates, producing medium-to-large fruits.
Native to Central America; tropical selections cultivated in India, Sri Lanka, Philippines, and Latin America.

Requires full sun (6–8 hours daily).
Thrives in 22–32°C; tolerates high humidity but not frost.
Plant in well-drained sandy-loam soil; spacing 5–6 meters apart.
Apply compost and NPK 8:10:10 every 2–3 months; supplement with calcium and magnesium.
Botanical name: Persea americana; Family: Lauraceae; Tropical selections often Guatemalan × West Indian hybrids.
Fruits are safe; leaves and seeds toxic to pets.

Fruits rich in healthy fats, vitamin E, and potassium; used fresh, in guacamole, and salads.
