Developed in Maharashtra, India; now widely cultivated across India and exported globally.
Water every 5–7 days; drip irrigation preferred.
Requires full sun (6–8 hours daily).
Thrives in 25–38°C; tolerates dry heat.
Plant in well-drained loamy soil; spacing 4–5 meters apart.
Apply compost and NPK 10:10:10 every 2–3 months; supplement with boron and potassium.
