I am Ice Coco, the tropical thirst-quencher with a cool heart. My crystal-clear water is naturally sweet and refreshing, while my tender malai melts like coconut jelly. I thrive in the sun and deliver hydration with a gourmet twist.
I am a tender coconut variety with sweet water and soft, jelly-like malai.
Selected from Thai and Indian dwarf hybrids; cultivated in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and coastal India.
Water every 3–5 days in dry seasons; prefers high humidity.
Requires full sun (8+ hours daily).
Thrives in 25–35°C; sensitive to frost.
Plant in sandy-loam soil with good drainage; spacing 7.5 x 7.5 meters.
Apply compost and NPK 10:10:20 quarterly; supplement with magnesium and boron.
Botanical name: Cocos nucifera; Variety: Ice Coco (tender hybrid); Family: Arecaceae.
Fruits are safe; husk and shell not edible.
High; large fronds filter air and reduce heat.
Water rich in electrolytes, potassium, and glucose; malai used in desserts and smoothies.
