I am Ramphal, the orchard’s custard jewel. My reddish fruits with creamy pulp bring a rich, sweet flavor, loved fresh or in desserts.

I am a tropical fruit tree producing reddish custard apples.

Native to tropical America; cultivated in India, Sri Lanka, and Southeast Asia.

Water weekly; drought-tolerant once mature.

Requires full sun.

Thrives in 22–35°C; sensitive to frost.

Plant in sandy-loam soil; spacing 5–6 meters apart.

Apply compost and NPK 8:10:10 every 2–3 months.

Botanical name: Annona reticulata; Family: Annonaceae.

Fruits are safe; seeds not edible.

Moderate; leafy canopy reduces dust.

Fruits rich in vitamin C, fiber, and antioxidants; eaten fresh, in milkshakes, or desserts.

Susceptible to fruit borer, anthracnose, and leaf spot; prune for airflow and monitor regularly.

Can live 15–20 years; starts fruiting in 3–4 years; peak yield from year 8 onward.
