I am Rayaan, the hardy forest fruit tree. My small yellow fruits are sweet and nutritious, loved by children and birds. I thrive in dry climates, offering shade, fruit, and grafting support for sapota orchards.

Native to India; common in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra.
Minimal; drought-tolerant once mature.
Requires full sun.
Thrives in 25–40°C.
Plant in sandy-loam soil; spacing 6–8 meters apart.
Apply compost annually; minimal fertilizer needed.
Botanical name: Manilkara hexandra; Family: Sapotaceae.
Fruits safe for humans; seeds not edible.
