All Details

I am a remarkable and heavy-yielding hybrid mango, specifically engineered to be a "commercial powerhouse" while maintaining a delicious, traditional flavor. I produce medium-to-large, oblong fruits with a smooth, greenish-yellow skin that often develops a soft, attractive blush. My flesh is deep orange, firm, and completely fiberless, offering a perfect balance of intense sweetness and a mild, pleasant aroma.

I am a high-performance hybrid variety prized for my regular bearing habit, excellent pulp-to-stone ratio, and my ability to stay firm even when fully ripe, making me a favorite for exports.

I was developed in Bangladesh (often associated with the Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute - BARI) as part of their "BN" series to improve upon traditional varieties like Amrapali and Langra.

I require deep and consistent watering during my fruit-development stage to support my heavy clusters, but I need well-drained soil to prevent root rot and maintain high sugar levels.

I am a sun-loving tree; I need at least 8 to 10 hours of direct sunlight daily to develop my high Brix (sugar) content and my signature deep orange internal color.

I thrive in hot, humid tropical climates between 24°C and 40°C and am perfectly adapted to the summers of the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia.

I have a semi-vigorous growth habit, which makes me very suitable for high-density planting (HDP) where space is used efficiently to maximize harvest.

I am a moderate-to-heavy feeder; I respond excellently to organic manures in the winter and a potassium-rich fertilizer in early spring to enhance my fruit size and weight.

My scientific name is Mangifera indica 'BN7' (also known as BARI Mango-4 in some regions) and I belong to the Anacardiaceae family.

My fruit flesh is a safe, vitamin-rich treat for pets, but my sap and leaves contain natural irritants; always ensure the pit is safely discarded.

My lush, dense evergreen canopy is highly efficient at filtering air pollutants and provides a cooling, oxygen-rich microclimate for your orchard or backyard.

I am an excellent source of Vitamin A and C; because of my firm flesh and thick skin, I have a superior shelf life, allowing me to be transported long distances without bruising.

I am generally more resistant to common pests than older varieties, but I should still be monitored for mango hoppers and fruit flies during the peak ripening season.

I am a sturdy and highly productive perennial tree that can continue to provide you with consistent, heavy harvests for 40 to 60 years.
