I am Deshi Almond, the native nut of India. My small kernels carry high oil and nutrition, cherished in Ayurveda, sweets, and daily diets. I thrive in dry climates, offering families a superfood and farmers a hardy orchard crop.
I am a traditional Indian almond variety, smaller but richer in oil.
Native to Kashmir, Himachal, and Afghanistan (Gurbandi type).
Requires irrigation every 7–10 days in dry zones.
Requires full sun.
Thrives in 15–30°C; tolerates dry cold.
Plant in sandy-loam soil; spacing 5–6 meters apart.
Apply compost and NPK 8:10:10 annually; supplement with micronutrients.

Safe for humans; toxic to dogs and cats.
